Aktuell sucht das Unternehmen einen Portfolio Manager, um das Investment Management Team zu verstärken. In dieser Funktion spielst du eine Schlüsselrolle bei der Gestaltung von Anlagestrategien und der Umsetzung datengestützter Lösungen für Einzelinvestoren. Du wirst für die Verwaltung und Verfeinerung von global diversifizierten Multi-Asset ETF-Portfolios verantwortlich sein. Dabei ist es wichtig, ein tiefes Verständnis für Portfolio-Konstruktion und Risikomanagement mitzubringen.

Zusätzlich wirst du eng mit den Teams für Finanzengineering, Handel und Datenanalyse zusammenarbeiten, um die internen Abläufe zu optimieren. Besonders spannend wird die Möglichkeit sein, regulatorische Anforderungen innerhalb deines Fachgebiets zu behandeln und deine Erkenntnisse klar aufzubereiten und zu kommunizieren.

Um dich für diese Position zu qualifizieren, solltest du über einen hervorragenden akademischen Hintergrund in Betriebswirtschaft, Finanzen oder verwandten Bereichen verfügen und bereits Erfahrung mit Python und großen Finanzdaten gesammelt haben. Ein CFA-Fortschritt oder ähnliche Qualifikationen werden gern gesehen. Auch deine Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch und Englisch sollten exzellent sein.

We combine rigorous research with modern technology to deliver scalable, data-driven investment solutions for retail clients. As a Portfolio Manager, you will play a key role in managing our investment strategies, refining portfolio processes, and driving systematic, disciplined portfolio management at scale with several €bn of assets under management.

• Refine and manage globally diversified multi-asset ETF portfolios within Scalable Wealth’s discretionary mandates
• Contribute to the design and implementation of strategic and tactical asset allocations across all major asset classes
• Combine deep investment expertise with strong analytical skills to manage our portfolios in a data-driven and scalable way
• Conduct portfolio reviews, performance analyses, and risk assessments to ensure robust and consistent portfolio outcomes
• Evaluate and select ETFs based on quantitative and qualitative criteria
• Collaborate closely with Financial Engineering, Trading, and Data Engineering teams to improve data pipelines and analytical workflows that support portfolio management
• Act as a subject matter expert for regulatory requirements within your domain
• Communicate investment decisions and portfolio insights to clients, internal stakeholders and external partners

Qualifications

• Excellent academic background in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field of studies
• Working experience with Python (pandas, jupyter) and comfortable working with large financial datasets
• Very strong understanding of portfolio construction, risk management, and multi-asset investing with ETFs
• Familiarity with object oriented programming, APIs (AWS, Bloomberg), and dash is considered a plus
• At least 1.5 years of relevant professional experience
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL for data analysis and reporting
• A collaborative team player with attention to detail and organizational skills
• Additional qualifications (e.g. CFA progression) considered a plus
• Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken
